Muslim communities gathered in New Delhi on Tuesday to protest the assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani by the US.
Demonstrators gathered outside the US embassy carrying posters and cartoons of US President Donald Trump and chanted anti-US slogans.
Protesters in India's northern Ladakh territory also marched on Monday carrying a banner with photographs of Soleimani and Iraqi Deputy Commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who were both assassinated on Friday (January 3) in a US drone strike in Iraq.
Muslims make up 14 percent of India's population.
