Greece: Thousands march against rising prices

Thousands of people march in central Athens to denounce "soaring prices" and "low wages," while a 24-hour general strike called by private and public sector unions paralyzes the country.

One marcher says that rising prices are "bringing Greek society to its knees," whilst another says that the "freefall" of pensions and salaries "can’t go on any longer."
