Thousands march in Karachi to support Palestine

Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets of Karachi "to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Pakistan, Gaza and the West Bank," according to the leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), which organized the rally.

"The rally will send a clear message against the brutalities, atrocities and barbarism of Zionist Israel," said MQM leader Mustafa Kamal.

Footage shows thousands of people marching through the city streets with Palestinian flags and banners, reading 'Stop genocide of Palestinian Muslims', 'Israel commits genocide' among others.

The march was attended by a large number of women and children, as well as religious minorities, who also condemned the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
