France has announced its decision to deny visas to violent Israeli settlers amid an increased number of Zionist attacks against Palestinians in the Occupied Lands.

The French government will ban 28 Israeli settlers from entering the country for attacking Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, the French Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

“These measures come as violence perpetrated by settlers against the Palestinian population has increased in recent months. France reaffirms its firm condemnation of this unacceptable violence,” the Ministry said in its statement without naming the individuals.

Meanwhile, UN figures show that Israeli settler attacks have more than doubled each day since October 7, when the Israeli regime launched its genocidal war against Gaza.

Also, European officials have expressed increasing concern about the increased number of attacks against the Palestinians in the West Bank.

Officials in the United States and Britain have expressed similar concerns and have already imposed sanctions on several Zionist settlers whom they say are responsible for the violence.

In this regard, EU Foreign Policy Chief, Josep Borrell, pledged late last year to propose visa bans against violent Israeli forces.
