Pars Today- Although the US officials keep making allegations, the Islamic Republic has announced several times that Tehran has no goal or motive to meddle in the American presidential election since it is an internal issue of the country.

The spokesperson of Trump campaign, in an anti-Iran statement, claimed that the hackers related to Iran had tried in June to infiltrate in the account of a senior official during the presidential campaign. According to Pars Today, the Iranian daily Qods wrote, "Although Steven Chong has made this allegation without documents, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced in a report that it is engaged in research on the allegations of Donald Trump campaign based on hacking his documents by Iran."

Meanwhile, the Iranian mission in the UN, rejecting the allegations on Tehran's role in hacking Trump campaign, stressed, "The Iranian government has no objective and motive to interfere in the US presidential election."

Before the allegation of hacking and stealing some of the internal correspondences of Trump campaign, the US intelligence officials had also raised anti-Iran allegations such as assassination attempt against Trump, disturbing the election and Tehran's negative effect on electoral campaigns of this candidate.

Trump's hackneyed weapon to triumph in election

Amir Ali Abulfat'h, expert of the American issues, speaking to daily Qods, referring to the Trump campaign's allegations based on hacking his documents by Iran, said, "As we approach the time of holding the US presidential election and considering the media climate in the country, Trump is trying to use electoral techniques to drag the American society towards depicting himself as a hero on the one hand and undermine the ability of security apparatuses of Biden administration, especially the FBI, and the management of democrats in the executive and controlling affairs of the country."

Abulfat'h made it clear, "This is the very method that Trump used to triumph in the 2016 presidential election claiming Russian intervention in the election. In fact, in order to garner more votes, he tries to make use of influential countries in the world like the Islamic Republic of Iran, China and Russia. This allegation of Trump campaign on hacking the documents is a commonplace weapon which shouldn’t be taken seriously."

He added, "Concurrent with raising this claim by Chong, the spokesman of Trump campaign, the Iranian mission announced that this issue is basically no more than an allegation, rather Tehran has no motive to meddle in the American presidential election for or against any candidate. Moreover, the Iranian mission has asked the FBI to deliver the documents of this claim to Tehran in order to give it the proper response. This is while, no document has been presented so far on Iran's hacking of Trump campaign."

This expert continued, "The Islamic Republic of Iran enjoys an undeniable power in the cyberspace in the world and it is enumerated as one of the global cyber powers according to the US security organizations. Yet, Iran with high offensive and defensive capabilities in cyberspace, doesn’t consider it necessary to meddle and hack the American election arena."

Abulfat'h stated, "The United States of America has interfered in more than 80 sovereign countries directly or indirectly in the form of coups, overthrowing governments, velvet revolutions and so on. Today, the US is the greatest violator and accused in different elections in the world and raising allegations against other sovereign countries, like the Islamic Republic of Iran, is baseless and negated."

Trump's fear of Iran's influence in region

Mohammad Lesani, expert of international and media issues said in an interview with daily Qods, "The role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in West Asia, particularly in support for Gaza, the Palestinian cause and the ideal of resistance movements, has caused each of the democrat and republican candidates to make use of it for victory in the presidential election. Donald Trump, too, is seeking a winning card, called Iran, to gain more votes of the American society."

Lesani made it clear, "The Islamic Republic of Iran, with its prominent role and trans-regional power during the past 46 years, has not allowed the formation of the New American Order and New Middle East to the US and its European allies. Highlighting Iran's role in the global developments and introducing it as an international destructive player by the US can be useful in civil validation for the US government and national figures such as Donald Trump and Kamala Harris."

He added, "There has been presented no document and evidence on the American officials' claim concerning Iran's involvement in cyber-attacks, but Trump is trying to make himself a mythical hero among his fans and the America people."
