Pars Today- Head of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization said at the 20th International Islamic Forum in Moscow, "As our holy Book is the caller to peace and friendship, I propose to establish the Qur'anic Parliament of the Islamic World to support peace with the cooperation of Muslim countries."

Hojjat-ol-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, Head of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization, said at this session which was held in Moscow with the participation of religious dignitaries from 48 countries concurrent with the Unity Week and the birth anniversary of the great Prophet of Islam, "This forum is a valuable opportunity to strengthen proximity of Islamic sects and promote peace." According to Pars Today, Imanipour, condemning the crimes of Zionists against the oppressed people of Palestine, said that the silence of the Western countries and the US towards the Israeli crimes is indicative of their double standards of human rights.

The Iranian official reiterated during the session that the Islamic scholars and leaders of other religions bear a heavy responsibility at this juncture in time both in the field of clarifying realities and the effort to set up just peace.

Imanipour expressed hope that "The results of these talks will set the ground for settlement of just and sustainable peace, especially in the crisis-hit regions like Gaza."

This session was held in the Jame' Mosque of Moscow with religious, political and cultural officials from different countries in attendance.
