  • Macron to Netanyahu: Don't forget that the UN created Israel/ France's refusal to license Israeli companies

Pars Today- The French President criticized the Zionist military's attacks on UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon, saying Netanyahu should not forget that Israel was created by a UN resolution.

Emmanuel Macron pointed out at a cabinet meeting on Tuesday: "Benjamin Netanyahu should not forget that Israel was first created by the United Nations, so it's not time to ignore the UN's decisions now."

According to Pars Today, in November 1947, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution to divide Palestine into two Jewish and Palestinian states, which led to the creation of the fake Israeli regime.

Also on Monday, France's defense minister Sebastian Lecornu said that Israel's disrespect for the UN and its resolutions is a "problem," emphasizing that it was a UN resolution that created Israel in the first place.

Tensions between France and Israel have escalated since Israel's invasion of Lebanon. Politico reported that relations between Macron and Netanyahu have become strained due to France's "fear" of the conflict in West Asia escalating into a broader war following the Zionist regime's attack on Lebanon.

Meanwhile, in recent days, following the French president's call for an arms embargo on the Zionist regime, Paris has refused to issue licenses for Israeli companies to participate in its naval defense industries exhibition. According to the Israeli regime's Kan network, the exhibition is scheduled to take place in France next month.
Pro-Palestinian supporters, including activists and prominent French politicians, protested in the Republic Square in Paris on Tuesday against Israeli crimes in Gaza and Lebanon. The protesters again called for an end to the Israeli regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, chanting "Long live Palestinian resistance."

The protesters carried Palestinian and Lebanese flags, as well as banners that read, "Dolls lose their children" and "Free Palestinian political prisoners."

Earlier on Friday, the French Foreign Ministry announced in a statement that following the Israeli military's shooting at three UN peacekeeping force bases in southern Lebanon, including the main base of UNIFIL forces in Naqoura, France had summoned the Israeli regime's ambassador.

The French Foreign Ministry's statement read: "These attacks constitute a dangerous violation of international law and must be stopped as soon as possible."
