Expansion of Iran-Russia parliamentarian cooperation; Tehran, Islamabad stress powerful stance against Israel
Pars Today - Chairman of the State Duma of Russia said, "President Vladimir Putin has presented the Iranian-Russian Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement to the State Duma for ratification."
Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the Russian State Duma, stressed in an interview with the Duma TV on Monday, "Ratification of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran has been planned for April 2025 and the new mechanism of parliamentarian cooperation between the two countries will be shaped within the framework of this agreement." According to Volodin, approval of this agreement will upgrade the mutual relations to a new level. He emphasized that the agreement includes the fields of defense, security, anti-terrorism struggle, development of industry, agriculture, education and culture.

Iran, Pakistan stress strong stance against Israel
Moreover, Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a phone call with the Pakistani Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, expressed hope that strong stances would be adopted in the face of the Israeli crimes against the people of Palestine and Gaza through bolstering unity and solidarity among Muslim nations. Shahbaz Sharif, for his part, said, "Iran and Pakistan, as two historical neighbors, should strengthen mutual cultural and economic relations." Meanwhile, Iran's president, speaking with his Turkmen counterpart, expressed hope that with strengthening brotherhood, neighborly bonds and cultural-economic ties, "we will be able to gain good achievements to the benefit of both nations and regional countries." Pezeshkian, in his contact with the Qatari Emir, also, emphasized the acceleration of putting mutual agreements into effect. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Algerian President, also said in his phone call with Pezeshkian, "The relations of Iran and Algeria are expanding in a brotherly and friendly climate."
