Araghchi arrives in Italy
Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with his accompanying delegation, arrived in the Italian capital Rome, early Saturday morning to participate in indirect negotiations with the United States. Concurrently, Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, noted on the social media platform X that the second round of talks between Iran and the United States would take place in Italy.
He reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always demonstrated goodwill and a responsible approach by remaining committed to diplomacy as a civilized means of resolving issues while safeguarding the supreme interests of the Iranian nation. Baghaei added: "At the same time, we are aware that the road ahead is not smooth. We proceed with open eyes and lessons learned from past experiences."
Orbán: The West has lost the proxy war with Russia
Viktor Orbán, the Prime Minister of Hungary, stated that the war between Ukraine and Russia has been a proxy war waged by the West against Moscow, and that the Western powers have been defeated in this conflict. Speaking in an interview with the YouTube channel Oti, Orbán noted that the entire Western world has supported Kyiv in the war against Russia.
Continued attacks by the Zionist regime on Gaza and Lebanon

The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry posted on the social media platform X, citing a report by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), that the Zionist regime has martyred an average of 27 children per day since the start of the Gaza war.
Yemen’s first attack on the USS Vinson in the Arabian Sea
Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces, announced on Friday evening that Yemeni forces had targeted the USS Vinson for the first time since its entry into the Arabian Sea. Additionally, Yemeni forces reported the success of their air defense systems in shooting down a U.S. MQ-9 drone over the skies of Sana'a province. According to Yemeni sources, the drone was on a hostile mission at the time.

The Washington Post reported that more than half a million U.S. weapons that were sent to the Taliban in Afghanistan have either gone missing, been sold, or smuggled to militia groups. The report adds that, according to UN findings, some of these weapons have fallen into the hands of groups affiliated with al-Qaeda.
