Biggest Russian drone attacks on different regions of Ukraine
Ukrainian officials have informed of the greatest drone attacks of Russia against various regions of the country, especially Kiev. According to the officials, these attacks have mainly targeted Kiev only one day before Donald Trump's likely phone talk with Vladimir Putin on immediate ceasefire. Russian President, Vladimir Putin, is to have a phone call with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, on Monday. Ukrainian officials have announced that, an attack carried out with 273 explosive drones resulted in death of one woman and injury of several other people.
The war between Russia and Ukraine drags on while delegates from both countries went to Istanbul on Friday and negotiated on ceasefire and settlement of conflict. This meeting was almost inconclusive and the two parties only agreed on exchange of 1,000 POWs from each side.
The was the first round of direct negotiations between Moscow and Kiev since March, 2022. If the exchange of POWs is done completely by both countries, it will be the greatest of the kind since the start of the war in March 2022. This move can be a sign of progress in humanitarian issues between the two countries.
