Iran’s firm warning to South Caucasus meddlers: Repeating Zangezur will not go unanswered
The Leader’s advisor on international affairs warned foreign actors in the South Caucasus, stressing that any repetition of failed projects such as the “Zangezur Corridor” would be met with a firm response from Iran.
According to Pars Today, quoting Fars News Agency, Ali Akbar Velayati, the Leader’s advisor on international affairs, stated:
“Once again, certain claimant governments—disregarding both their own interests and those of the region—have raised the issue of the Zangezur Corridor and are knocking on every door to advance illegitimate goals in the South Caucasus.
Any government, whether in the region or beyond, that seeks to repeat this failed experience will face a firm response from Iran.”
New Yemeni missile strike on Occupied Territories in response to Gaza atrocities
The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced a missile attack on the occupied Palestinian territories.
According to Al Jazeera television, following the Yemeni missile strike on areas occupied by the Zionists, air raid sirens were activated in several occupied regions. In recent months and days, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched dozens of missiles and drones toward the occupied Palestinian territories in retaliation for the continued brutal crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza and the massacre of innocent Palestinian civilians.
The Yemeni military has pledged to continue its attacks against the regime as long as Israel does not halt its assault on Gaza.
1,000% Surge in psychological crisis within Israeli army following Gaza war
The head of the Israeli military’s reserve forces mental health unit has revealed that the number of reservists seeking psychological treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) since the beginning of the Gaza war has risen from 270 annually to nearly 3,000—a 1,000 percent increase.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Colonel Uzi Bechor, head of the reserve forces mental health unit of the Israeli army, stated:
“In the past, Israeli soldiers would typically seek psychological support after about 10 years, but now the requests come much earlier—sometimes just one or two weeks after experiencing trauma.”
He also acknowledged that his unit closely monitors suicides among Israeli military personnel, and that most of the suicides are not even recognized by army therapists or health authorities.
UN’s clear response to U.S. claim: The West Bank belongs to the Palestinians
The Deputy Spokesperson for the United Nations emphasized that Israeli settlement construction in the West Bank is illegal.
Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesperson for the United Nations, responded to a recent claim by Mike Johnson, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, who asserted that the West Bank was promised to the Jewish people and rightfully belongs to them. Haq firmly stated:
"Under international law, the construction of Zionist settlements in the Occupied Territories is illegal and violates international law."
German lawmaker calls for sanctions on Israel
A senior member of Germany's ruling party has called for potential sanctions against the Israeli regime, including suspending arms exports and halting trade cooperation.
According to Pars Today, citing Fars News Agency, Siemtje Möller, Parliamentary Deputy of Germany’s ruling party, said:
“Berlin must consider imposing sanctions against Israel, such as suspending arms exports or freezing agreements with the European Union.”
She added that Israel’s claim of placing no restrictions on aid to Gaza is not convincing and warned:
“If tangible progress is not made in Gaza soon, Israel must face serious consequences.”
India protests Trump’s unjust targeting of the country
India’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson has responded to recent remarks by the U.S. President, stating that India has been unfairly targeted by the U.S. over its Russian oil imports.
Pars Today, quoting IRNA, reports that Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for India’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, criticized the West’s double standard approach led by the United States. He said that India’s oil imports are a necessity caused by global market conditions, while the countries criticizing India themselves engage in extensive trade with Russia—even when such trade is not a vital necessity.
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, amid gradually rising tensions between Washington and New Delhi, announced that tariffs against India would be significantly increased due to India’s purchase of Russian oil.
