Pars Today – An American whistleblower has revealed the role of the Biden administration in covering up the killing of Shireen Abu Aqleh by the Israeli military.

According to Pars Today, citing Al Jazeera, Steve Gabbawiks, an American whistleblower and former U.S. Army colonel, highlighted new aspects of human rights violations by the Israeli government and the U.S. role in this regard in an interview with the network. Sent by the U.S. State Department in 2022 to investigate Abu Aqleh’s killing, he stated that his findings indicate Israeli forces deliberately targeted the Al Jazeera journalist.

According to the American whistleblower, Shireen Abu Aqleh, the Palestinian-American journalist for Al Jazeera, was shot 16 times while wearing a vest marked “Press.” Nevertheless, the U.S. State Department labeled the killing as “accidental” to avoid provoking a reaction from Israel.

Gabbawiks also claimed that Abu Aqleh was only one of several American citizens killed by the Israeli military, and that the United States has taken no action to hold Israel accountable for these incidents. This revelation has reignited debates over Washington’s role in sensitive cases involving Israel.
