White House shares Valentine’s card featuring Greenland

Pars Today – On Valentine’s Day, the White House posted an image of a greeting card centered on Greenland on the social media platform X, a move seen as a continuation of previous statements by the U.S. president regarding the region.

The White House’s X account shared a map of Greenland shaped like a heart, accompanied by the symbolic phrase: “It’s time to stake our claim.”

According to Pars Today, Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark and has been a subject of political discussion in the United States in recent years. U.S. President Donald Trump has previously expressed several times his interest in annexing the island.

In response, Danish authorities and Greenland’s local government have repeatedly reacted to any claims over the island, emphasizing the importance of respecting its territorial integrity.

Additionally, continuing its series of politically and socially themed Valentine’s posts, the White House released another Valentine’s card addressing immigration. This image also used a heart symbol and conveyed a critical message regarding the immigration policies of the previous U.S. administration.
