Pars Today — Cuba's Minister of Foreign Affairs has warned that a possible US attack on Cuba would create a humanitarian catastrophe and lead to a bloodbath.

According to Pars Today, "Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla," Cuba's Foreign Minister, said in a message on social media: In a potential US attack on Cuba, both Cuban and American citizens would be killed, and only politicians who do not send their own children and families to war would dare to carry out such a scenario.

Cuba's Foreign Minister added: "There is absolutely no reason or the slightest pretext for the United States to launch a military attack on a small island that poses no threat, simply because a few people want to change Cuba's political system or government."

Recently, following a report by NBC News that Donald Trump, the US President, has become angered by Cuba's capacity to withstand Washington's pressures, the American news website Axios reported the possibility of an imminent attack on the Caribbean island.

For over six decades, Cuba has been subjected to increasingly harsh and inhumane US sanctions, which constitute a clear violation of the fundamental principles of the UN Charter and international law.
