Pars Today — A U.S. senator, acknowledging the Trump administration’s failure in its war against Iran, said the conflict has weakened the United States and made Iran more powerful.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, Chris Murphy, a senator from Connecticut, acknowledged the consequences of the war against Iran for his country and said he would support any agreement to end the war, even if it were a “bad” deal.
Referring to the rising costs of continuing the war and its consequences for the United States, Murphy said: “The American people are suffering from this war, and the cost of reopening the Strait of Hormuz is increasing day by day.”
The U.S. senator also said: “Trump has lost this war, and as a result, the United States has been weakened and Iran has become stronger.”
