Protesters rallied in Sao Paolo on Wednesday in protest against Brazilian President Michel Temer, as Congress dismissed corruption allegations that would have forced him to stand trial.
Demonstrators chanted ‘Out Temer’ as they carried signs and banners decrying the incumbent president, and demanded that he step down from office.
The corruption charges against Temer included allegations that he had taken bribes from the Brazilian meatpacker JBS and has frozen his reform agenda for more than six months.
