  • Germany expresses doubts about joining NATO's new adventure against Russia

Pars Today - The German Chancellor has assured citizens that Berlin will not participate in any frightening adventure related to the Ukraine crisis.

Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, in response to NATO's provocative actions on its borders. Western countries not only failed to take steps to reduce tensions and stop the fighting in Ukraine but also fueled the instability by sending weapons and equipment and exerting pressure on Russia.

According to Pars Today, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated at a press conference that Ukraine is capable of defending itself.

The German Chancellor emphasized that the German government's policies will continue to be based on reason and that they are not seeking adventure, but rather want to quickly restore security and unity in Europe.

It is worth noting that the German government, along with other Western countries, has been supplying Ukraine with weapons, and in late May, allowed Kiev to use these weapons to attack targets inside Russia, sparking widespread discussions about the potential consequences of this action by Ukraine's allies.
