The Majlis: Elections involve different political currents

In the Islamic Republic of Iran, elections are among the manifestations of the country system of popular religious rule and the symbol of people’s right to determine the affairs of the nation by casting votes for the candidates of their choice having different viewpoints and belonging to various political currents within the framework of the constitution.
