It was in the year 232 AH, corresponding to 846 AD that a radiant boy was born in the household of the Prophet. He was the second son of the virtuous father, Imam Ali an-Naqi al-Hadi (AS), the Prophet’s 10th Infallible Heir. He was named “Hasan” or the Most Excellent in honour of the Prophet’s elder grandson and 2nd Infallible Successor, Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (AS).
