Lieberman: Rome talks were a crushing defeat for Netanyahu

Pars Today - The head of the “Israel Our Home” Party announced on Saturday that the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States in Rome, Italy, are a testament to Benjamin Netanyahu’s significant defeat against Washington.

Avigdor Lieberman stated, “We witnessed a pathetic proposal from the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu who, for the sake of his political survival, is preventing the immediate return of Israeli captives from Gaza.” The second round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States was held on Saturday, April 19 in Rome, Italy, hosted by Oman. Following these negotiations, the Iranian Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi said that there is a possibility of achieving results if goodwill and realism (from the American side) continue. /ISNA
