Kuwait welcomes progress in indirect talks between Tehran & Washington
Pars Today - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while expressing appreciation for the roles of Oman and Italy, welcomed the progress made in the second round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States.
Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry announced in a statement on Sunday: “The State of Kuwait welcomes the statement by the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the agreement between Iran and the United States in the second round of talks held in Rome, the capital of Italy, and the agreement of the two countries to move to the next phase of negotiations in order to reach a permanent and binding agreement. The statement added: “Kuwait welcomes this step, which indicates the desire of both sides to continue the dialogue based on the progress achieved.” / IRNA
