Head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council offers condolences to Iran

Pars Today - The chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council sent a message of condolence to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian on Sunday, following the explosion in Shahid Rajaei Port in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, and the death of a number of Iranian citizens.

Mahdi al-Mashat stated in the message: “On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Yemen, I sincerely offer my condolences to the president of Iran, the families of the martyrs and the injured, and to the Iranian nation for this painful incident. I wish a speedy recovery to all the injured.” The message continued: “Yemen stands with Iran, and we are confident that you are capable of overcoming this tragic incident and rebuilding the damages.”/ Mehr news agency
