Islamabad: India wants to carry out a military operation against Pakistan
Pars Today - Pakistan's representative to the United Nations Security Council said on Friday (2 May 2025) that detailed intelligence indicates that there are imminent threats of Indian military operations against Pakistan.
Pakistan's representative told the UN Security Council that if India chooses to resort to aggression, Pakistan will exercise its lawful and legitimate right to self-defense. The Pakistani diplomat stressed that Islamabad does not seek to escalate tensions and that Pakistani political figures have made this clear at all levels. Pakistan and India have been exchanging fire and carrying out a series of punitive measures against each other for eight consecutive nights along the militarized Line of Control – effectively the border between the two countries. /MEHR news agency
