Iraqi president: We have good relations with Iran

Pars Today – The president of Iraq stated on Saturday that his country currently enjoys good relations with both Iran and the United States.

Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid expressed concern about the security situation along the Iraq-Syria border due to the activities of certain groups in these areas. He emphasized the necessity of bilateral dialogue between Baghdad and Damascus to address these issues. Referring to the long borders between the two countries, the Iraqi President noted that Syria's security is tied to Iraq's security. These remarks come as Baghdad prepares to host the Arab League Summit on May 17./ ISNA
