Iran’s oil minister: Tehran-Baghdad energy cooperation to expand

Pars Today –Iran’s Minister of Oil, Mohsen Paknejad, in a meeting with Iraq’s Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, emphasized strengthening strategic relations and expanding bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

On Tuesday, during his meeting with Fadel, Paknejad highlighted the deep historical, cultural, and political ties between Iran and Iraq and stressed the importance of developing joint cooperation in the energy sector. The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and agreed to expand cooperation in this field as part of the strategic relationship between the two countries. (IRNA)
