Ghalibaf: Progress of Islamic world depends on Tehran-Riyadh cooperation
Pars Today - The speaker of the Iranian Parliament said on Wednesday: “The two important Islamic countries of the region, Iran and Saudi Arabia, should take advantage of the opportunities that have arisen to develop their relations in line with the progress of the Islamic world.”
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who was leading an Iranian parliamentary delegation to participate in the 19th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, in a meeting with Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, the Saudi Parliament Speaker, said: “Today, more than ever, Islamic countries should be united.” He added: “We are very pleased that the necessary communication has been established between the two Islamic countries in the region, Iran and Saudi Arabia.” /IRIB news agency
