Iranian & Algerian parliament speakers meet in Jakarta

Pars Today – The Parliament speakers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Algeria met and conferred on Wednesday.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis), and Ibrahim Boughali, Speaker of the Algerian Parliament met and held talks on the sidelines of the 19th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC). The 19th PUIC Conference which coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Union’s founding, officially began on Wednesday in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, with the participation of parliamentary delegations from 38 Islamic countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran./ ISNA
