Pakistan: Islamabad grateful for Iran's peaceful diplomacy

Pars Today –The spokesperson for Pakistan’s Armed Forces stressed on Saturday the importance of close relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran for regional peace and stability.

General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry praised Tehran’s peace-driven diplomacy for easing tensions in the subcontinent and reaffirmed that Pakistan supports peace while remaining fully prepared to respond to any aggression. He appreciated Iran’s efforts in helping reduce tensions and noted that the international community, including Iran, recognizes that the approach of Pakistan’s eastern neighbor has worsened the situation./ IRNA
