Pars Today- The spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs categorically dismissed the claims raised in the final communiqué of the Arab League Summit in Baghdad pertaining to the three Iranian islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Bu Musa.
On Monday, Esmaeil Baghaei emphasized that the three islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Bu Musa constitute an integral part of Iranian territory. He further asserted that the Islamic Republic of Iran deems any claims in this regard as contravening the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and international law concerning the respect for the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of countries, as well as the principle of good neighborliness, and considers the raising of such matters in the final statement of the Arab League Summit unacceptable./ IRNA
