  • American Think Tank: We wasted over $7 billion in Yemen in two years

Pars Today- An American thank tank acknowledged that the fruitless attack on Yemen has made the US arsenal empty.

According to Pars Today, quoting from IRNA, the American Enterprise Institute warned against the reduction of munitions after the country's useless attacks on Yemen.

Makenzie Eaglen, expert in the field of defense and military, in a report for this institute, said that the repeated military operations have challenged the US and have put Washington in a situation in which it is unable to launch a grave and long battle successfully.

In view of this, Admiral James Kilby, acting chief of naval operations, stressed at the House Committee on the Budget, that the operation against Ansarullah movement of Yemen has seriously pressured the munition manufacturing industries of the US.

New York Times had earlier laid bare the serious decrease of munition reserves of the US, too. According to the report of this American newspaper, only during 30 days of the operation "Rough Rider", the US military attacked more than 1000 targets whose cost was "staggering" and over $1 billion.

"Defense Priorities", another think tank based in Washington, estimated that the US has wasted over $7 billion during the Biden presidency and the current Trump presidency during two years of bombing Yemen.

Brigadier General Mojib Shamsan, military expert from Yemen, has just said, "Yemen's capability in reconnaissance of the American radar-evasive (F-35) fighter jets with simple and traditional devices was an insult per se to the military strategy of the enemy and the American mindset."

Noting that Yemen's message has gone beyond confronting the Americans and reached the Zionists, he said, "The devices that the Americans had brought for reaction and affecting Yemen's operation have lost their efficiency."
