WHO warns: Gaza’s health system on the brink of collapse

Pars Today – The World Health Organization announced that the healthcare system in Gaza has reached the point of collapse.

According to the organization, 94 percent of Gaza’s hospitals have been damaged by Israeli attacks. WHO officials stated that of the 36 hospitals in the region, only 19 are operating at partial and limited capacity. The UN-affiliated body warned that continued attacks and the blockade have brought the healthcare system to the verge of total collapse, severely restricting the public’s access to basic medical services. /ISNA
