Sudan sharply condemns new US sanctions: "Baseless accusations and blackmail"

Pars Today – The spokesperson for Sudan’s government reacted to the new US sanctions against the country, saying that Washington has always obstructed Sudan’s path to stability and development.

On Thursday, the United States alleged that the Sudanese Army used chemical weapons against the “Rapid Support Forces” (RSF) during last year’s civil war. The US State Department announced that it would impose sanctions on Sudan’s Army, including export restrictions and credit limitations.
