Pope Leo XIV: The situation in Gaza is "alarming" and "heartbreaking"

Pars Today –The leader of the world’s Catholics on Wednesday described the situation in the Gaza Strip as "alarming and heartbreaking" and urged the Zionist regime to allow humanitarian aid into the besieged area.

Speaking during his weekly public address at St. Peter’s Square, Pope Leo XIV said, "I repeat my appeal for the just entry of humanitarian aid and an end to the conflict, whose devastating cost is being borne by children, the elderly, and the sick."
