Iran and ECO take major step toward regional food security

Pars Today – In a meeting with the ECO secretary-general, Iran’s agriculture minister highlighted the need for stronger regional cooperation to address agricultural challenges and ensure food security.

Gholamreza Nouri Ghezeljeh described the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) as a suitable platform for regional synergy in tackling shared agricultural challenges among member states. Condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime and stressing the need to support the people of Gaza, he reaffirmed Iran’s readiness to expand comprehensive cooperation with ECO./ IRIB news agency
