Multiple mosques attacked in Texas, US

Pars Today – US media reported that three mosques in Austin, the capital of Texas, were vandalized, prompting Islamic organizations to demand increased security from the police.

The Austin branch of the Council on American–Islamic Relations (CAIR–Austin) has asked local police to increase patrols around Nueces Mosque, the Islamic Ahlul Bayt Association (IABA), and other area mosques. This request follows acts of vandalism targeting the Diyanat Center of Austin, Nueces Mosque, and IABA mosques. CAIR said the caretaker of the Nueces Mosque discovered hate symbols, including spray-painted Stars of David, on the mosque’s main entrance and surrounding areas. / IRIB news agency
