Seventh round of Iran-South Korea political consultations held in Seoul
Pars Today – The seventh round of political consultations between Iran and South Korea was held in Seoul at the level of directors general of the foreign ministries of both countries, with an emphasis on developing capacities for economic, cultural, and scientific cooperation.
In this round of talks, Ali Asghar Mohammadi, Assistant to the Foreign Minister and Director General for East Asia and Oceania at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Chang Kwang-Young, Director General for African and West Asian Affairs at South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussed a range of bilateral cooperation issues. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, potential for economic collaboration, cultural exchanges, scientific and educational cooperation, joint efforts in international forums, and regional developments.
