Iran's FM: Agreement with US not impossible

Pras Today - In an interview with the "Special Meeting" program of Egypt's Al-Qahera News Network, the Iranian foreign minister said: "Currently, there are many differences between Iran and the United States, some of which are differences of principle, but this does not mean that reaching an agreement is impossible."

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, emphasizing in an interview on Monday that negotiations between Iran and the US are not easy, added: “This does not mean that reaching an agreement is impossible. If the US abandons its illogical and impractical demands and correctly understands the reality of Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, then we are ready for an agreement. But if the US intends to disrupt our peaceful nuclear program, we are certainly not prepared to accept such a thing, and this will not be achievable.”

Referring to Iran’s clear and explicit red lines, Araghchi said: “The issue of uranium enrichment is a scientific achievement for us, achieved by our scientists, and we cannot overlook this matter.” /IRIB news agency
