Takht-Ravanchi: Iran-US talks have not reached a dead end
Pars Today – Iran’s deputy foreign minister for political affairs noted on Tuesday that while the European troika is pushing for a resolution against Iran at the ongoing IAEA Board of Governors' meeting, the sponsors of the anti-Iranian resolution cannot claim to support diplomacy, adding that negotiations between Iran and the US have not reached a deadlock.
Majid Takht-Ravanchi, a member of Iran’s negotiating team with the US, stated that international negotiations always involve ups and downs—whether they pertain to global peace and security or areas such as international trade. “Any negotiations with an international scope have their own sensitivities and require great patience and endurance to reach a conclusion,” he said. The deputy foreign minister emphasized that the key priority is to safeguard Iran’s national interests. (IRNA)
