Iravani: The West must stop supporting Israeli crimes

Pars Today – Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, speaking at the UN General Assembly's emergency session on the Palestine issue, stressed that the occupying Zionist regime must abide by ceasefire agreements and condemned the blind and unrestrained support of some Western countries—especially the United States—for Tel Aviv’s unlawful and colonial policies of occupation.

He said: “Numerous resolutions have been adopted containing clear and explicit provisions, including repeated calls for the immediate cessation of illegal settlement activities, the protection of Palestinian civilians, and adherence to international humanitarian law. Yet not a single one of these resolutions has been fully implemented by the Israeli regime.”

Iravani criticized the use of the veto power to block ceasefire resolutions in Gaza, calling it a blatant example of support for perpetrators of war crimes.
