Baghdad reacts to Israeli attack on Iran

Pars Today – The spokesperson for the Iraqi government condemned the Israeli regime’s attacks on Iran, stating that the international community must not remain a passive observer in the face of this blatant violation of international law.

In an official statement, the Iraqi government strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s attacks on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing them as a clear violation of the fundamental principles of international law and the United Nations' Charter, as well as a threat to international peace and security — especially amid ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States.

Bassem Al-Awadi stressed that “the international community must not remain a bystander in the face of such an obvious breach of international law, as resorting to the logic of force to impose realities on the ground undermines the foundations of modern international relations.” /Tasnim news agency
