US imposes new sanctions on Iran

Pars Today – The US Department of the Treasury announced new sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran on Thursday, continuing the “maximum pressure” policy initiated by President Donald Trump.

In a statement, the Treasury Department repeated its anti-Iran accusations, claiming: “The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is today taking action against networks that have collectively transported and purchased billions of dollars worth of Iranian oil, some of which benefited the IRGC-QF (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps–Quds Force), a designated foreign terrorist organization.”
These new US sanctions come after joint and illegal attacks on Iranian soil with the Israeli regime.
