Iran's president arrives in Azerbaijan
Pars Today – The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who had departed for the Republic of Azerbaijan to attend the 17th Summit of Heads of States of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), has just arrived in the city of Khankendi, the venue of the Summit.
Masoud Pezeshkian, on the morning of Friday (July 4), traveled to Khankendi at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to take part in and deliver a speech at the 17th ECO Summit.
During this visit, the Iranian president is scheduled not only to address the Summit but also to hold bilateral meetings with a number of participating heads of states.
Leaders from countries including the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan are also attending the Summit, providing an opportunity for dialogue on economic, social, and political issues, as well as for fostering regional cooperation in pursuit of shared interests. / IRNA
