BRICS leaders call for unconditional ceasefire in Gaza

Pars Today – Leaders of BRICS member states, meeting in Rio de Janeiro, urged all parties involved in the Gaza conflict to engage in good-faith negotiations aimed at achieving an immediate, permanent, and unconditional ceasefire.

In a joint statement, the 10-member bloc called for the complete withdrawal of Israeli military forces from the Gaza Strip and all other Occupied Palestinian Territories. The statement also condemned the US and Israeli attacks on Iran and emphasized the need to find “just and sustainable” solutions to the crises in West Asia. / Mehr news agency
