Nawaf Salam: Hezbollah is an inseparable part of Lebanon

Pars Today – Lebanon's Prime Minister Nawaf Salam stated that Hezbollah remains committed to the 'Taif Agreement' and the ceasefire arrangements, affirming that the movement is an inseparable part of the Lebanese state.

Salam said “We emphasize the necessity of extending the state's authority across all Lebanese territory,” adding, “Hezbollah continues to uphold the 'Taif Agreement' and the terms of the cessation of hostilities and is an integral component of Lebanon.”

The prime minister also stressed the importance of implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and reactivating the coordination committee responsible for halting acts of aggression. /Mehr news agency
