Polish FM: We respect Iran’s civilization and people

Pars Today – Poland’s foreign minister described Iran–Poland relations as among the oldest in international history and expressed respect for Iran’s ancient civilization and people.

Speaking at a joint press conference with the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Radosław Sikorski said that bilateral relations between Tehran and Warsaw date back 500 years. While reiterating Western allegations about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, Sikorski implicitly defended the US attack on Iranian nuclear sites, saying he hoped Iran had “received the message” from the US strike.
