  • EU intensifies sanctions on Iran over alleged human rights violations

Pars Today – On Tuesday, the European Union imposed sanctions on eight Iranian individuals and one entity under the pretext of human rights concerns.

Those added to the sanctions list include the Zindashti Network and its Chairman, Naji Ibrahim Sharifi Zindashti, along with Abdolwahhab Kuchak, Ali Esfanjani, Ali Kuchak, Akram Abdolkarim Oztunc, and Nihat Abdolqadir Asan. Reza Hamidi Ravari and Mohammadreza Ansari were also named.

The EU claimed these individuals were responsible for serious human rights violations abroad on behalf of Iran.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has dismissed these accusations as a diversionary tactic to distract public attention from the primary issue of the day: the genocide of the Palestinian people and the Zionist regime’s warmongering in West Asia.
