Historic decision in Bogotá: 11 countries ban arms trade with Israel

Pars Today – A group of Global South nations attending the Bogotá Summit adopted a joint declaration banning arms transactions with Tel Aviv in protest against the Zionist regime’s military aggression.

The member states of the “Hague Group” and their allies, in a summit held in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, adopted historic measures aimed at curbing the aggression and crimes of the Zionist regime. These measures include: banning the export and import of weapons to and from the Occupied Palestinian Territories; prohibiting the use of ports and flag-bearing vessels of the signatory countries for transporting or supplying weapons to the regime; and mandating commercial companies to comply with anti-complicity principles through close monitoring and legal pressure in cases of violations.
