Iranian president sends congratulations to Thailand’s King and Prime Minister

Pars Today – The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in separate messages congratulating the King and Prime Minister of Thailand on the occasion of Thailand’s National Day, said that 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries are built on 400 years of historical and cultural ties between their peoples.

In a message to His Majesty Maha Vajiralongkorn, the King of Thailand, Masoud Pezeshkian congratulated him, the royal family, and the people of Thailand on their National Day. He emphasized that while Iran and Thailand are marking the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relations, the historical and cultural bonds between the two nations date back more than 400 years. He added that he is confident this longstanding trajectory will continue in a way that benefits both nations and strengthens regional and international peace and stability.

In another message marking the same occasion, the Iranian president also wrote to Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister of Thailand, stating that Iran and Thailand—whose relationship is rooted in 400 years of long-standing ties—are celebrating the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relations this year. He expressed hope that, given the historical background of the two nations and their existing capacities, both sides will witness further growth and consolidation of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
