Israel’s Arrow system deployed in Germany after failure against Iran

Arrow air-defense system
Pars Today – Germany has deployed an Israeli air-defense system on its territory— the same system that failed to stop Iranian ballistic missiles.
Germany has become the first European country to deploy the Arrow air-defense system, which is designed to intercept medium-range ballistic missiles. According to Pars Today, citing Fars News, the system was developed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in cooperation with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency and is considered part of Israel’s multilayered air-defense network.
This comes even though the Arrow system failed to withstand Iran’s Promise of Truth operations, during which several Iranian missiles passed through the system and struck Israeli military and strategic targets.
Nevertheless, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius says the system is intended to protect “not only Germany, but also our partners,” even as Ukrainian air-defense systems have struggled against Russia’s new missiles, especially the Urozhennik.
