Baghaei: Global order has collapsed under silence and double standards toward injustice

Pars Today – In response to the mass resignation of members of the United Nations Commission of Inquiry on Israeli Crimes in Occupied Palestine, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said that international institutions are losing their legitimacy, efficiency, authority, and moral mission.

Esmaeil Baghaei wrote on social media platform X: “When the Special Rapporteur on Palestine is bullied and sanctioned, and the members of the Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Territories resign en masse, it means that international institutions are no longer even permitted to document the truth.” He emphasized that the collective resignation of the Commission members following the sanctioning of the special rapporteur is not a simple development but rather a serious warning of the collapse of the global legal and normative order.
